Aaron Nuwamanya

To respond to the challenges faced by communities in understanding and responding to the impacts of climate change, Aaron is dedicated to increasing awareness and knowledge through access to information and training programs. With a focus on engaging youth and children as Environmental, Health, Rights, and Development Trainers of Trainers (EHRD-TOTs), Aaron promotes a cascading model approach to empower future generations. Through mobilizing communities to establish citizen assemblies and Digital Participation Platforms (DPPs), Aaron aims to facilitate active citizen participation in policy and decision-making processes. He believes that informed and empowered communities, including the most vulnerable groups, can make a significant impact in addressing the ongoing climate crisis.
