Marta Agueda Carlero

Marta is a passionate rock climber and sustainability innovator on a mission to transform the sports industry, starting with eco-friendly climbing holds. Traditional climbing holds are typically made from plastic, which contributes to environmental waste. Marta’s solution? Sustainable holds crafted from mycelium, a biodegradable and renewable material. With a vision for a plastic-free sports industry, she’s redefining the boundaries of sustainable design and challenging industry norms, one mycelium hold at a time. Through her work, Marta aims to pave the way for a greener future in climbing and beyond.
