Niclas Alexander Weisl is an innovator dedicated to addressing the decline in marine ecosystem health by restoring native oyster reefs and making their ecological impact measurable and verifiable. He is developing a solution that enhances oyster restoration initiatives with tools to quantify ecosystem services such as water filtration and biodiversity. By focusing on this work, he aims to improve water quality, strengthen coastal protection, and create opportunities for sustainable economic and community development. This work is deeply personal to him because he loves the ocean and believes the best solutions already exist in nature. With determination and vision, Niclas is paving the way for sustainable solutions that make a real difference.
