Filbert Minja

Filbert Minja is an innovator dedicated to addressing the lack of inclusive and impactful climate communication in Africa. He is developing a solution that uses immersive, community-driven storytelling through exhibitions, films, and co-created media to amplify African climate voices. By focusing on this work, he aims to empower communities to share their stories, build awareness, and inspire localized climate action. This mission is deeply personal to him because, as a storyteller from Tanzania, he has seen how invisibility limits action and is determined to restore agency, voice, and hope to frontline communities. With determination and vision, Filbert is paving the way for sustainable solutions that make a real difference.
