Yvone Khavetsa is an innovator dedicated to addressing poverty, food insecurity, and limited income opportunities for women in rural East Africa. She is developing a solution that SHARE equips women with training and enterprise in farming, crafts, and poultry, enabling them to generate income and long-term financial stability. By focusing on this work, she aims to reduce hunger, empower women, and create scalable gender equity models across East Africa. This work is deeply personal to her because she has seen mothers struggle with hunger and poverty, fueling her drive to restore dignity and opportunity. With determination and vision, Yvone is paving the way for sustainable solutions that make a real difference.
