Yasmine Mostafa Abdu

Yasmine Mostafa Abdu is an innovator dedicated to addressing the gap between sustainable intention and action, where 80% of Gen Z and millennials want to make greener choices but only 12% do, and food contributes 34% of global emissions. She is developing a solution that gamifies sustainable grocery shopping by integrating directly into loyalty apps—no scans or downloads needed—making it fun, easy, and rewarding. By focusing on this work, she aims to shift customer behavior, increase loyalty rewards, and incentivize small-scale suppliers to adopt greener practices. This work is deeply personal to her because she believes behavioral change, if done right, can reshape entire supply chains and empower people to drive systemic change. With determination and vision, Yasmine is paving the way for sustainable solutions that make a real difference.
