Esther is leading a project focused on training farmers to adopt sustainable practices. By promoting crop residue recycling and utilizing residues for mushroom substrate, Esther aims to reduce the harmful effects of burning while creating a valuable resource for agriculture. Esther's initiative not only addresses the immediate problem of air pollution but also seeks to improve soil health and agricultural productivity in the region. With Uganda's air quality already at concerning levels, Esther's project offers a practical solution to mitigate the impact on respiratory health and the environment.
