Sau Ting Wu

Location
Hong Kong

Sau Ting Wu is an innovator dedicated to addressing Hong Kong’s exam-focused education system, which leaves students without practical knowledge to manage their personal carbon footprints. She is developing a solution called the School Carbon Literacy Program, which uses interactive tools and gamified learning to teach students the carbon costs of daily life and promote sustainable habits. By focusing on this work, she aims to empower youth to make informed eco-friendly choices and foster a city-wide culture of sustainability that supports Hong Kong’s climate goals. This work is deeply personal to her because her expertise in carbon accounting and environmental education drives her to bridge the gap between knowledge and action. With determination and vision, Sau is paving the way for sustainable solutions that make a real difference.
