Prudence Kayijuka

Prudence Kayijuka is an innovator dedicated to addressing the lack of affordable digital design tools, sampling facilities, and cross-border opportunities for young designers in Kigali. She is developing a solution that provides digital design resources, sampling assistance, and manufacturing support to empower designers to create Afro-digital fashion for global markets. By focusing on this work, she aims to create jobs, equip youth with digital skills, preserve African culture through modern fashion, and boost local incomes through international sales. This work is deeply personal to her because she believes young African designers deserve the tools and opportunities to share their culture, earn income, and shape global fashion narratives.
