Osirumiji Ihude

Location
Malaysia

Osirumiji Ihude is an innovator dedicated to addressing urban waste mismanagement, where litter overwhelms manual collection efforts and poor sorting systems harm efficiency. He is developing a solution that uses computer vision to autonomously navigate urban areas, identify scattered waste, and sort materials for proper disposal. By focusing on this work, he aims to create cleaner neighborhoods, reduce municipal costs, prevent contamination, and improve public health, with potential to scale to other cities. This work is deeply personal to him because he has seen how unmanaged litter degrades his neighborhood’s environment and quality of life. With determination and vision, Osirumiji is paving the way for sustainable solutions that make a real difference.
