Sustainability Zone

Oliver Shu Wei Pang is an innovator dedicated to addressing the built environment’s carbon footprint, which contributes 39% of global greenhouse gas emissions, largely from energy-intensive HVAC systems. He is developing a solution through GreenCoat, a smart window technology that reduces unwanted heat transfer and lowers reliance on HVAC. By focusing on this work, he aims to reduce the carbon footprint of buildings while improving comfort for occupants. This work is deeply personal to him because, with most of the global population now living in cities, making urban buildings sustainable is crucial to tackling climate change. With determination and vision, Oliver is paving the way for sustainable solutions that make a real difference.
