Gerardo Calderón Huerta

Gerardo Calderón Huerta is an innovator dedicated to addressing inefficiencies in production chains, which are slow, manual, unsustainable, and responsible for more than 70% of CO₂ emissions. He is developing a solution called Samla, the AI backbone for sustainable business relations, which streamlines procurement, logistics, and payments. By focusing on this work, he aims to open access to smart, scalable supply chains that reduce costs, drive local industry, and promote sustainable, inclusive economic growth. This mission is deeply personal to him because after years working in NGOs and sustainable industry, he realized broken supply chains were at the root of global inefficiency and inequality. With determination and vision, Gerardo is paving the way for sustainable solutions that make a real difference.
