Education and Behavioral Change

Faith Achieng Wambiya is an innovator dedicated to addressing food insecurity in Kilifi County, Kenya, worsened by climate change impacts such as droughts, floods, and land degradation. She is developing a solution that empowers rural women through education and training in climate-smart agricultural practices, including agroforestry, sustainable land management, and tree planting. By focusing on this work, she aims to increase food availability, improve nutrition, and create sustainable income opportunities for women and their families. This mission is deeply personal to her because rural women and children are among the most vulnerable to food insecurity and climate change. With determination and vision, Faith is paving the way for sustainable solutions that make a real difference.
