Anesu Emmanuel Chagadama is an innovator tackling food insecurity and agricultural waste in Zimbabwe. He is developing methods to valorize post-harvest remains from cereal crops by using microbes such as yeast to produce livestock feed while providing a sustainable waste management solution. His project creates farmer income even in drought years and supplies affordable protein for fish and poultry. This mission is deeply personal to Anesu, who recognizes the environmental damage caused by waste incineration and is inspired by biotechnology to find better solutions. With determination and vision, Anesu is paving the way for sustainable solutions that make a real difference.
