Onshi Noname is an innovator dedicated to addressing plastic pollution in water bodies and the scarcity of clean drinking water. She is developing a solution called S2W, which uses solar energy to convert seawater into drinking water while simultaneously collecting plastic debris. By focusing on this work, she aims to provide clean water, reduce pollution, and protect ecosystems—contributing to UN SDGs 6 and 14. This work is deeply personal to her because her experiences with community cleanliness drives inspired her to create sustainable solutions for water and plastic challenges. With determination and vision, Onshi is paving the way for sustainable solutions that make a real difference.
