Kimberly Uehisa, a passionate advocate for sustainable food systems, hails from Hawaii, United States. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes of Hawaii, Kimberly was deeply impacted by the fragility of food supply chains, sparking a lifelong commitment to conservation and sustainability. With a keen awareness of the interconnectedness between individuals' well-being and the health of the environment, Kimberly has embarked on a mission to create positive change for future generations.

Drawing from personal experiences and a profound understanding of the detrimental effects of food barriers on communities, Kimberly's project focuses on establishing nutritious food gardens and implementing rat-resistant compost bins to bolster local food production.
