Recognizing the pressing issue of inadequate access to nutritious food in low-income communities, Somila is dedicated to addressing this challenge head-on. With a focus on offering affordable locally grown microgreens rich in essential nutrients, Somila aims to combat food insecurity by providing access to healthy food options. Additionally, by developing microgreens supplements using organic ingredients, Somila seeks to enhance nutrition within low-income communities. Having personally experienced the impact of food insecurity, Somila is driven by the belief that everyone deserves access to nutritious food, regardless of their financial circumstances. Through this project, Somila envisions empowering individuals in the local community through training in sustainable farming practices, fostering self-sufficiency, and promoting eco-friendly farming methods.
