Silla Montella Otieno Dienya is a passionate advocate for adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health in Kenya. With a deep concern for the impact of climate change on vulnerable communities, particularly in Kitui County, Silla is dedicated to addressing the lack of scientific data on this critical issue. Recognizing the need for more initiatives to support medical students and young healthcare professionals in conducting research, Silla has embarked on a groundbreaking project. By training the next generation of researchers, Silla aims to generate valuable insights that will inform policies and regulations to improve SRHR service delivery for adolescents and youth in climate change vulnerable communities.

Drawing from personal experiences that highlight the transformative power of education and access to healthcare, Silla is committed to empowering young people to make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive lives. Through this project, Silla is paving the way for positive change and advocating for a brighter future for the youth of Kenya and beyond.
