Rushitha Satla
Rushitha Satla, hailing from India, is a passionate advocate for addressing the critical issue of food waste in her country. With a deep understanding of the staggering statistics - 78.2 million tonnes of food wasted annually in Indian households while millions suffer from hunger - Rushitha has embarked on a groundbreaking project. Despite India ranking low on the Global Hunger Index, she is determined to make a difference. Leveraging her expertise in AIML algorithms, Rushitha's project focuses on predicting food order quantities to optimize purchasing, minimize waste, and enhance inventory management in households and restaurants. Her mission is fueled by the alarming reality that millions of Indians go to bed hungry every night, with undernourishment levels surpassing global averages. With over 4500 children under five dying daily due to hunger-related causes, Rushitha's initiative aims to instill a culture of conscientious consumption, alleviate hunger, promote sustainability, and pave the way for a brighter, more equitable future globally.
