Phionah Nagaba
Phionah Nagaba is a passionate advocate from Uganda dedicated to addressing the pervasive poverty in rural areas, particularly among youth. Recognizing the barriers of limited access to quality education, vocational training, and financial literacy knowledge, Phionah is committed to empowering young people with essential skills for employment and entrepreneurship. Through initiatives focusing on African crafts, baking, sewing, and soap making, she aims to combat poverty while promoting eco-friendly entrepreneurship.
With a strong emphasis on financial literacy and family planning discussions, Phionah seeks to enhance community well-being and economic growth. Her mission is driven by a deep understanding of how poverty impacts individuals and communities, and the belief that by promoting environmental sustainability, lasting positive change can be achieved. By empowering Kabuyanda's youth with skills and knowledge, Phionah envisions fostering self-reliance, economic growth, and community resilience.
In addition to on-the-ground efforts, Phionah plans to develop an E-commerce application to connect rural youth with clients globally, further enhancing economic opportunities and community development. Through these comprehensive approaches, she aims to uplift individuals, families, and the region as a whole, contributing to long-term stability and prosperity.
