Pamela Musimenta

Pamela Musimenta is a passionate environmentalist from Uganda dedicated to combating deforestation, land degradation, and soil erosion in her community. With a deep concern for the impact of these issues on the environment and livelihoods of local residents, Pamela is leading a project to address these challenges head-on. Through the establishment of six tree nurseries, Pamela's project aims to restore degraded communal and individual land by promoting tree growing. Additionally, soil and water conservation measures will be implemented on individual farms and public land to reduce runoff and control soil erosion. Having witnessed the devastating effects of floods and river bank degradation in Eastern Uganda, Pamela is driven to make a difference.
