Niyonsaba Gilbert

Niyonsaba Gilbert, a dedicated environmental advocate from Uganda, is on a mission to tackle the pressing issues of poor waste disposal and high carbon exposure in schools and communities. With a vision to create a sustainable future for children and future generations, Gilbert's project focuses on community awareness campaigns, establishing school and environment clubs, and promoting the creation of recyclable materials and artifacts. By utilizing recycled materials to produce essential items like literacy aides and sculptures, Gilbert aims to not only address environmental challenges but also foster creativity and educational engagement among young learners.

Recognizing the crucial link between a clean environment and quality education, Gilbert believes that by improving waste management practices, agricultural lands can thrive, children can actively participate in educational activities, and a conducive learning environment can be established. Through his efforts, Gilbert envisions a future where children are empowered to learn and grow in a sustainable and eco-friendly world.
