Waste Management

Nicole Wanjala, a passionate environmental advocate from Kenya, is dedicated to tackling the pressing issue of waste management in her country. Witnessing firsthand the detrimental effects of poorly managed waste on communities living near landfills, Nicole founded the GreenerHouse project. This innovative initiative focuses on collecting compostable materials from households, farmers, and businesses across Kenya, converting them into nutrient-rich compost for local agricultural practices.

Nicole's vision is clear: to create a cleaner and healthier living environment for all. By reducing the amount of waste ending up in landfills and decreasing the reliance on synthetic fertilizers, the GreenerHouse project not only addresses the waste crisis but also contributes to combating the climate emergency. Nicole firmly believes that sustainable waste management systems are essential for improving life on Earth and is committed to making a positive impact through her work. Join Nicole in her mission to create a greener and more sustainable future for Kenya and beyond.
