Lebone Applegreen is on a mission to revolutionize recycling in South Africa, where urban and township households lack awareness and incentives for recycling, leading to environmental degradation. With inefficient waste collection routes and limited community engagement straining waste collectors, municipalities are facing rising costs and incomplete data, exacerbating the environmental burden. Enter 'Eco-link,' our innovative solution that introduces an eco-friendly app promoting efficient recycling practices.

Through Eco-link, users not only learn about recyclables but also earn rewards for their efforts. Waste collectors benefit from optimized routes, while municipalities gain real-time data for informed decision-making, creating a sustainable recycling ecosystem. This initiative is personal for us, as my 84-year-old grandfather started recycling glass bottles for income. We are driven to make recycling easier for him and others like him, while also reducing waste in our community.
