Joy Tadayo

Joy Tadayo is a passionate advocate for climate action and environmental justice in Kenya. With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by populations living in rural areas and slums, Joy is dedicated to raising awareness about climate change and dispelling myths surrounding its effects. Recognizing the lack of environmental education and the harmful practices contributing to carbon footprint, Joy founded the Child Agency through Contemplative Practices project.

At the core of this initiative is the belief in empowering children as agents of change. By incorporating contemplative practices, Joy encourages young learners to connect with their environment and take meaningful actions to protect it. Through engaging activities like tree planting and moments of silence to listen to nature, children are inspired to be mindful of their surroundings and take responsibility for a sustainable future.
