Elizabeth Ochieng

Elizabeth Atieno Ochieng is a passionate entrepreneur and advocate for sustainable agriculture in Kenya. As a member of a poultry farming family, she experienced firsthand the challenges faced by small-scale farmers in the industry, particularly the high costs of essential feed ingredients. Determined to make a difference, Elizabeth founded a project that leverages natural microbes and tropical insect farming techniques to convert food and agricultural waste into affordable and environmentally friendly alternatives for the poultry industry in Kenya.
With a focus on creating climate shock-resistant food sources, Elizabeth's project aims to provide sustainable solutions to the industry's reliance on costly and environmentally detrimental feed sources. By offering affordable, high-quality poultry feed and eco-friendly biofertilizer, she seeks to improve food security, boost farmers' incomes, enhance poultry product quality, and promote sustainable agricultural practices in local communities. Elizabeth's vision is to create a more resilient and sustainable poultry industry in Kenya, benefiting both farmers and the environment.
