Education and Behavioral Change

David Santiago Mayoral Bonilla is a dedicated environmental advocate from Mexico, where the alarming statistics reveal the perilous conditions faced by activists. With nearly 2000 environmental activists murdered globally in the last decade, David is committed to addressing this crisis, especially in Latin America where 88% of these crimes occur. Ranked third in incidents behind Colombia and Brazil, Mexico is a hotspot for such violence, prompting David to take action.

As a champion for environmental rights, David collaborates with AdaLead to protect activists from lethal threats and empower them to drive change effectively. His mission is to instigate systems change, combat criminalization narratives, and promote behavioral shifts to ensure the safety and influence of environmental activists. Through his work, David aims to reduce violent incidents, enhance advocacy effectiveness, and drive positive shifts in public policy and societal attitudes towards environmental activism. His efforts are crucial for safeguarding critical voices in environmental conservation and climate action, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable future for our planet.
