Cynthia Nekesa
Cynthia Nekesa, a passionate advocate from Kenya, is dedicated to addressing the lack of access to affordable, efficient, and safe clean cooking energy in underserved communities in Kenya, Africa, and beyond. With a personal understanding of the challenges posed by unclean cooking fuels, Cynthia is on a mission to revolutionize the way communities cook by converting food waste and sludge into portable biogas for cooking. Her innovative project not only provides a sustainable energy solution but also produces organic fertilizer to support local farmers in replenishing soil nutrients.
Driven by a vision of a cleaner and healthier environment, Cynthia's initiative aims to reduce soil-water pollution, improve food security, and empower women through sustainable livelihoods. By tackling issues such as health risks, carbon emissions, deforestation, and economic empowerment, Cynthia is paving the way for a brighter and more sustainable future for all.
