Victor Mugambe, a passionate environmentalist from Uganda, is leading the charge against plastic pollution with his groundbreaking initiative. As the founder of a pioneering project, Victor is dedicated to creating biodegradable plastics using locally sourced agricultural waste and the power of microorganisms. These innovative plastics are not only environmentally friendly but also possess the same functionality as traditional fossil-based plastics.

Driven by the alarming statistic of over 1,000,000 sea birds and animals falling victim to plastic pollution in oceans each year, Victor is determined to make a significant impact. Recognizing the limitations of current methods in addressing this crisis, his project aims to revolutionize the industry by providing sustainable solutions that add value to local agricultural waste and create new employment opportunities.

With a vision of completely replacing non-biodegradable plastics with their biodegradable counterparts, Victor Mugambe is on a mission to protect our planet and pave the way for a more sustainable future.
