Brian Atichi Assanga

Brian Atichi Assanga is a transformative youth leader from Uganda, whose journey from witnessing crime in his town to becoming a champion for community development through boxing is truly inspiring. Motivated by the rampant crime in his community, Brian founded a community boxing initiative to channel the energy of the youth towards productive endeavors, aiming to curb theft and promote positive change. Recognizing the need for sustainable solutions, he spearheaded initiatives such as town clean-ups and waste recycling, demonstrating his commitment to environmental conservation and community empowerment.

Brian's vision extends beyond the boxing ring, as he actively engages with partners, political leaders, and community members to address pressing issues and secure government support for youth initiatives. By promoting unity, creating employment opportunities, and advocating for environmental stewardship, Brian envisions a future where his community is free from violence, drug abuse, and environmental degradation. Through his leadership and collaboration with local stakeholders, Brian is paving the way for a brighter, more sustainable future for Uganda.
